What You’ll Do

This role supports a Confidential Client delivering WIOA-funded youth services. You will recruit, enroll, and case-manage eligible youth to help them achieve academic success, postsecondary/career readiness, and long-term self-sufficiency.

• Recruit and enroll eligible youth via schools, community partners, and outreach.
• Conduct eligibility screenings, assessments, and intake interviews.
• Create and maintain Individual Service Strategies (ISS) with measurable goals.
• Provide ongoing case management, coaching, and barrier-removal support.
• Deliver career exploration, résumé and interview coaching, and postsecondary planning.
• Coordinate work experiences, internships, and employer placements aligned to youth goals.
• Maintain accurate participant records and daily documentation in the WIOA case management system.
• Provide follow-up services for at least 12 months after exit to verify outcomes and support retention.
• Build and maintain employer and community partnerships that expand work-based learning opportunities.
• Represent Confidential Client’s mission and values in all interactions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, education, business, or a related field is required.
• Experience working with youth and knowledge of adolescent development issues.
• Strong case-management and goal-setting skills; ability to develop ISS plans.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a high-accountability, performance-based program.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office) and case management/data systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; organized with attention to detail.
• A positive, professional attitude and commitment to supporting youth development.
• When driving for Confidential Client, the employee must have a valid Indiana driver’s license and maintain minimum liability auto insurance limits of $100,000/$300,000.

• Location: Huntington, IN (this posting is for work supporting southern counties; travel within the service area is expected)
• Employment Type: Full-time (standard program hours; may require occasional evenings or travel for outreach)

Compensation

• Estimated salary (from source posting): $36,957 per year — estimated.
