Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to join their operations safety team in Centennial, CO. This role develops safety leadership through hands-on training and day-to-day safety program execution in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. Candidates will receive structured development, be responsible for driving safety compliance and continuous improvement, and act as a safety advocate for frontline associates.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement aspects of the Global Safety Program at the site level.
  • Lead daily safety audits, risk assessments (Job Hazard Analysis), and incident investigations.
  • Record and maintain required safety documentation to meet company and OSHA standards.
  • Deliver engaging safety training and coaching for associates, area managers, and safety team members.
  • Drive corrective action plans to completion and recommend risk mitigation (including ergonomics).
  • Provide oversight for fire prevention, hazardous materials handling, and other safety activities.
  • Use safety data to identify trends, influence change, and promote a proactive safety culture.

Who We're Looking For (Qualifications)

Basic requirements

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a bachelor’s or master’s degree. (Degree must be complete before your first day.)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Degree or coursework in health, safety, or related field.
  • Interest in or prior safety-related experience (internships, co-op, or relevant roles).
  • Analytical/problem-solving skills and comfort using data to drive decisions.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds; frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting.
  • Able to stand/walk up to 10–12 hours per shift; may climb/descend stairs regularly.
  • Must be available for flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work environments may include variable temperatures, weather exposure in loading areas, and variable noise levels.

Location, Timing & Placement

  • Location (authoritative): Centennial, CO — this posting is for placement within the fulfillment network and aligned with site availability and candidate preferences.
  • Role start window: between January 2027 and September 2027.
  • This is a full-time, on-site role based in a fulfillment, sort, or delivery facility (not a corporate/remote office position).
  • Relocation benefits may be offered to eligible candidates at time of offer.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range (posted): $27.98 - $33.41 USD per hour. Final pay will be determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
  • Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off, parental leave, and other standard benefits. Sign-on and equity (where applicable) may be part of the overall offer.
