About Careertakes

👉 Important disclosure: Careertakes is a third-party recruiting platform supporting this hiring process. If selected, you will be employed directly by our client, Consumer Services (food / meal-kit delivery and cold-chain logistics).

Applicants for this role may also receive access to additional matched opportunities through the Careertakes platform.

What You’ll Do

This role supports the warehouse execution and operations technology stack. You will deliver high-quality WMS solutions and integrations that enable efficient warehouse workflows and minimize disruption to operations.

  • Write and maintain SQL procedures, views, and host tables that support workflows such as receiving, replenishment, WIP management, and shipping.
  • Develop, test, and deploy WMS solutions on the enterprise WMS platform (Körber/HighJump and related tools) using Advantage Architect, Webwise Page Editor, and associated integration layers.
  • Build and support integrations between the WMS and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, production technology, and Kafka-based messaging).
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents in partnership with WMS support analysts to minimize operational impact.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and runbooks so warehouse teams can adopt new functionality with minimal support.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Follow software change control processes, deliver required materials, and ensure deployments meet quality and schedule expectations.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years of software development, systems support, or technical analyst experience, ideally in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or WMS environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Working knowledge of SQL (queries, stored procedures, basic data modeling).
  • Experience with a scripting or programming language (Python, Java, or C#).
  • Familiarity with GitHub workflows, pull requests, and YAML-based CI/GitHub Actions diagnostics.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and technical communication skills — able to explain technical issues to non-technical operations teams.
  • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated with a sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively; flexible to occasionally coordinate across time zones and travel to support rollouts as needed.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Prior experience with Infios, HighJump, Körber, or another enterprise WMS.
  • Hands-on exposure to Advantage Architect, Advantage Link, Webwise Page Editor.
  • Familiarity with message queues / event streaming (Kafka).
  • Experience with Bartender label design.
  • Knowledge of AWS core services.
  • Industry experience in food / cold-chain logistics.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated pay range (as listed): $112,000 — $137,500 USD.
  • 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, and equity plan depending on role.
  • Generous PTO and up to 16 weeks parental leave.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits (options available at $0 monthly, effective first day of employment).
  • Tuition reimbursement for continuing education (after 2 years of service).
  • Significant employee subscription discounts on meal plans.
  • Access to Employee Resource Groups (BIPOC, women, veterans, parents, LGBTQ+, etc.).
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and fast-paced environment supporting a mission-driven supply chain team.
