What You’ll Do

• Support day-to-day servicing and administration of commercial casualty insurance accounts.
• Assist brokers with quoting, quote issuance, binder preparation, policy processing, and endorsements.
• Review policies, endorsements and related documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare renewal marketing materials, submissions, and cover letters.
• Maintain accurate client, policy, and transaction records in agency management and document systems.
• Organize and maintain account files to meet internal and regulatory documentation standards.
• Respond professionally and promptly to brokers, underwriters, carrier partners, clients, and internal teams.
• Assist with renewal activities, policy servicing, and lifecycle account management tasks.
• Collaborate with brokers, marketing, and operations to support account execution and client service.
• Use brokerage systems and business tools including AIM, ImageRight, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
• Support process improvements and special projects as assigned.
• Participate in professional development, industry events, and relationship-building with carrier and client partners.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Active Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and eagerness to learn the insurance industry.

Preferred

• Internship, coursework, or experience in insurance, underwriting, brokerage, financial services, sales, customer service, or account management.
• Familiarity with AIM, ImageRight, or other agency management/document platforms.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Existing Property & Casualty insurance license is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Target hourly range: $25.00 - $31.25 per hour.

Location & Schedule

• Hybrid role based in Chicago, IL — typical schedule: Monday–Thursday in-office, Friday remote.
• This role provides direct exposure to wholesale brokerage operations and carrier relationships while offering mentorship and development.
