About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Associates for a 2-year rotational Sales Associate Program. The program consists of two 12-month rotations that develop agronomy, sales, and customer-relations skills using data-backed agronomic tools and field trial work. Successful program completers will be eligible to apply for open roles across the organization.


What You’ll Do

  • Participate in two 12-month rotations focused on total-acre solutions (seed, crop protection, crop nutrients and services)
  • Engage directly with growers and retail partners to support business development and product placement
  • Conduct and analyze field trials to uncover yield potential and translate findings into recommendations
  • Build relationships across the customer and retail network and represent Confidential Client’s brands
  • Deliver educational product presentations and sales proposals
  • Travel regularly (estimated 20%–50%; may include nights/weekends and overnight stays)
  • Operate a company-assigned vehicle (valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required)
  • Be prepared to relocate between rotations as assignments require
  • Perform physical tasks frequently (lift/move boxes, access farm equipment, traverse uneven ground)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date of Dec 2026 or May 2027
  • Interest in pursuing a career in the agriculture industry
  • Ability to draw insights from data and translate results for customers
  • Willingness to relocate for rotation assignments
  • Willingness to travel 20%–50% (including nights and weekends when needed)
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory driving history
  • Must have completed at least one seasonal internship with Confidential Client (seasonal internship requirement)

  • Adaptability and agility in changing market conditions
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $68,000 per year
  • Typical benefits for full-time roles include medical, dental, vision, PTO, life & disability insurance, education assistance, and a 401(k) plan. Specific benefits eligibility depends on role and employment status.
  • Confidential Client maintains a drug-free workforce and may require post-employment substance testing consistent with company policy.

Additional Details

  • Employment type: Full-time; 2-year rotational program
  • Rotation locations include (but are not limited to): WI, MO, IL/IN/OH/MI, MN, KS
  • Physical requirements: frequent lifting of 50–60 lbs., use of farm equipment, and regular outdoor/field work
  • Travel & relocation: travel up to 50% and relocation between rotations required
