What You’ll Do
You will support the Product Service Delivery (PSD) team to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable drilling services. The role focuses on technical job design, real-time operational support, continuous improvement, and collaboration across product lines and commercial teams.
- Develop and deliver optimized technical job designs for assigned product lines.
- Provide real-time technical support to field operations and PSD teams.
- Identify and document opportunities for improved service delivery, cost-effective techniques, and value-added services.
- Assist with incident response, recovery, and investigation when required.
- Work with subject matter experts to refine designs and implement lessons learned.
- Support bids and tenders by evaluating technical viability with sales and commercial teams.
- Analyze job execution vs. design, capture lessons learned, and recommend design optimizations.
- Manage resource consumption (COSD) and support risk management activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, Chemical, Civil, or related).
- 0–3 years’ relevant field, technical, or engineering experience (entry-level candidates, including recent graduates, are welcome).
- Ability to work in field environments, including outdoor and remote job sites.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, including extended rotations when required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
- Commitment to comply with safety regulations and complete required safety training.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Prior experience supporting drilling operations or PSD teams.
- Familiarity with drilling engineering tools and job design software.
- Experience capturing lessons learned and rolling improvements into standardized designs.
Location, Work Type & Compensation
- Primary location: Houston, TX (role supports field operations and may include remote/telecommute work with travel to sites as needed).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Estimated compensation (as listed on the posting): $59,397 per year — estimated. This figure is provided in the source posting; actual pay offered by Confidential Client may vary based on experience and location.
