What You’ll Do

The Program Coordinator supports a statewide network of Women’s Business Centers by providing day-to-day program and administrative support. This is an entry-level role ideal for an organized, community-minded contributor who wants hands-on experience with event coordination, client intake, communications, and data tracking.

  • Provide administrative and program support across a statewide network of business centers.
  • Coordinate communications, deadlines, deliverables, and program activities across multiple locations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute workshops, networking events, outreach activities, and other program events.
  • Attend and represent the statewide initiative at events, conferences, workshops, and community activities.
  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging social media content and newsletters highlighting program activities, success stories, and resources.
  • Gather stories, photos, announcements, and updates from business centers and program partners.
  • Create basic digital graphics and materials using tools such as Canva.
  • Support intake of entrepreneurs and small business clients; ensure timely follow-up and referrals to appropriate services.
  • Enter and update information in databases, spreadsheets, or CRM systems; maintain data quality and flag inconsistencies.
  • Prepare routine reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel to business centers, partner sites, and events throughout the state as needed.

Who You Are

You are a reliable self-starter who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and is excited to learn about entrepreneurship and small business ecosystems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years related experience preferred (internships, nonprofit or program support, campus roles, or similar experience are relevant).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable drafting social posts, newsletters, and outreach copy.
  • Basic graphic/design familiarity (Canva or similar).
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CRMs, or program tracking tools.
  • Able to travel within the state for events and partner meetings.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and ability to work with distributed teams and community partners.

Compensation & Location

  • Estimated salary: $62,189 per year (estimated).
  • Location: Melbourne, FL (travel throughout the state required as needed).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
