What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring multiple entry-level Water/Wastewater Engineers to support planning, design, and delivery of drinking water and wastewater projects across the Pacific Northwest. These roles are ideal for recent graduates or engineers early in their careers who want mentorship and hands-on experience.

  • Support planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects (treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, pipelines, and related electrical systems)
  • Assist with engineering calculations, technical analyses, reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Participate in site visits, field investigations, data collection, and construction support activities
  • Learn applicable design standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
  • Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams of engineers, planners, designers, and technical staff
  • Receive mentorship and progressively take on greater technical and project responsibility

Where You’ll Work

These positions will primarily be based in Puyallup or Seattle, Washington, or Portland, Oregon. Opportunities may also be available in Spokane, Washington. Confidential Client offers hybrid work flexibility while prioritizing in-person collaboration and mentorship for early-career engineers.


Who You Are (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering discipline
  • Strong interest in water and wastewater infrastructure and serving municipal or private clients
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification or plans to pursue it
  • Collaborative approach, initiative to learn, and willingness to ask questions and seek feedback
  • Comfortable participating in site visits and fieldwork as project needs require
  • Eagerness to work on a variety of projects and develop a well-rounded technical foundation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly range: $36.05 - $39.40 USD (actual pay determined by experience, education, location, and role)
