Responsibilities
Confidential Client seeks an entry-level Water/Wastewater Engineer who will work with project teams to design, evaluate, and support water-resource projects. This role is a hands-on engineering position with mentorship from senior staff and opportunities to contribute to client proposals and technical deliverables.
- Support development of plans, specifications, reports, and design calculations for water/wastewater projects
- Participate in field investigations, inspections, and data collection
- Prepare technical drawings and coordinate CAD/Civil3D deliverables
- Assist with hydraulic modeling, pump station and distribution system design tasks
- Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to produce contract documents and cost estimates
- Contribute to project submittals and client communications under supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline (required at time of hire)
- Entry-level — no prior professional experience required; internships or academic project experience strongly preferred
- Academic or internship experience with water/wastewater systems, treatment, distribution, and pump stations preferred
- Experience or coursework with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydraulic modeling tools preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam completion preferred or in-progress
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with occasional outdoor site visits that may include variable weather and construction hazards
- Routine use of standard office equipment and frequent computer work
- Ability to walk, climb, bend, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during site visits
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds; some local travel during the business day
