What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer (EIT) to join its Ustick, ID office. You’ll work alongside senior engineers and project managers on practical, community-focused water resources projects — including treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and distribution/collection networks. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute from day one and grow technical skills in hydraulic modeling, design, and permitting.

• Assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and construction specifications
• Perform hydraulic modeling, calculations, and data analysis to support design decisions
• Conduct field investigations, data collection, site inspections, and as-built reviews
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance activities and prepare documentation for regulatory submissions
• Help develop cost estimates, project schedules, and constructability input
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (environmental, survey, operations) to deliver high-quality, practical solutions

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
• 0–5 years of relevant experience (internship/co-op experience is a plus)
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within one year
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid authorization to work in the United States

Preferred skills:

• Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling tools
• Basic experience with water/wastewater design standards and permitting processes
• Ability to perform field work and site visits in the Ustick, ID area
• Collaborative mindset and attention to detail
