Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Operations Management Trainee (Operations MIT) for an on-site, hands-on 6-month training program based in a distribution warehouse. This program prepares high-potential candidates for a career path into Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager roles nationwide.

What You’ll Do

• Receive structured, hands-on training across distribution center functions: operations, management, purchasing and customer/shipping interfaces.
• Shadow experienced staff, contractors, and customers to learn operational standards and customer-facing processes.
• Participate in classroom sessions at the EDGEucation Center (lecture, role play, computer lab) covering operations, financials, leadership, HCM and operating systems.
• Complete a comprehensive presentation to senior leadership as the final program deliverable.
• Work on assigned projects and special operations initiatives to deepen operational knowledge.

Where You’ll Train & Work

• Training is held on-site at distribution locations (examples listed in the original posting). After completing the 6-month training, program graduates should expect the possibility of relocation (company-provided assistance) to support career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related field; minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Demonstrated leadership or problem-solving experience (work, internships, clubs, volunteer service, athletics, or military leadership).
• Comfortable working in a distribution warehouse environment and performing physically active tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate or work around pallet jacks, forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Willingness and ability to relocate during/after the program (company-paid) and travel up to ~25%.
• Results-driven, self-starter with strong leadership potential and customer-service orientation.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn inventory/operations software
• Prior internships or extracurricular experience in distribution or supply chain areas

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated pay: $53,302 per year (estimated figure shown in listing).
• Note: The original posting states that in NV, NY, WA, CA, CO, CT, NJ, RI, and HI this role is compensated at $28.85/hour (based on full-time schedule); relocation or cost-of-living adjustments may apply where noted.
