What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Vulnerability Management professional. This role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and focuses on identifying, assessing, and helping remediate security vulnerabilities across systems and networks.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments for systems and network assets
• Triage and prioritize discovered vulnerabilities based on risk and impact
• Work with IT and engineering teams to develop and track remediation plans
• Monitor environments for potential security incidents and escalate appropriately
• Maintain and improve vulnerability management processes and documentation
• Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and help implement preventive controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (required)
• Current Security+ CE certification (required)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability management best practices
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and common techniques
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across IT and security teams

Compensation & Location

• Estimated pay: $70,385 per year (estimated)
• Employment type: Full-time
• Location: Johnson City, TN (on-site or as required by the client)
• This position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and compliance with applicable client security policies.
