What You’ll Do
This entry-level VDC Project Engineer role supports BIM/VDC implementation and construction coordination for projects run by our confidential client. You will help ensure models and workflows are accurate, coordinated, and usable by project teams in the field and office.
- Review and audit 3D models from consultants and contractors in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Execute clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage
- Manage BIM construction process and verify adherence to the BIM Execution Plan
- Maintain organization and distribution of BIM project files and deliverables
- Support early design review and constructability analysis
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and coordination reports
- Lead or support weekly coordination meetings with project teams
- Assist with BIM/VDC technology integration in the field alongside PMs, Project Engineers, and Superintendents
- Help implement model-based workflows for coordination, scheduling, and quality assurance
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Entry-level candidates and recent graduates encouraged to apply; previous AEC experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Navisworks and clash detection workflows preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, or Synchro is helpful but not required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable in collaborative project teams
- Professional, motivated, detail-oriented, resilient, and positive attitude

Compensation & Location
- Location: Ny State Campus, NY (onsite / project locations as assigned)
- Salary range: $70,000–$90,000 per year (range provided by confidential client)
