What You’ll Do

As a Valuation Fall Analyst (entry-level) you will join the valuation team supporting client engagements and internal projects. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation of assets, projects, and investments
  • Build and maintain robust Excel valuation models and templates
  • Research industry trends, market data, and economic drivers to inform valuation assumptions
  • Prepare clear, client-ready valuation reports, slide decks, and supporting schedules
  • Collect, clean, and organize financial and operational data for model inputs
  • Coordinate engagement deliverables and timelines with team members and management
  • Respond to internal and client requests promptly and professionally
  • Ensure deliverables comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify technical issues, analyze facts, and support management with data-driven recommendations
  • Use common finance and valuation software alongside advanced Excel

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (or significant academic project experience)
  • Strong Excel skills, including modeling and working with large datasets
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to prepare client-facing materials
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Willingness to pursue professional credentials after hire (e.g., Certified Valuation Analyst, CFA, CVA, Certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst, CPA with ABV)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Good-faith salary range for Manhattan, NY: $70,000 — $81,000 per year (range reflects experience, skills, and credentials)

Work Environment & Additional Details

  • Location: Manhattan, NY (on-site, professional office environment)

  • Travel: Some travel to client sites may be required during engagements
