What You’ll Do
You will lead UX and UI design for a greenfield assessment product, owning the end-to-end experience from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Own UX strategy: define personas, journey maps, information architecture, and navigation for a multi-role assessment platform.
- Lead user research: plan and run interviews, usability tests, surveys, and workflow analyses; translate findings into actionable design artifacts.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to validate and communicate solutions.
- Design complex, data-dense interfaces such as score reports and dashboards focused on clarity and educator decision-making.
- Establish and maintain a scalable design system and component library to ensure consistency across product features.
- Ensure accessibility and responsiveness (WCAG-aligned) across devices and user roles.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, Psychometrics, and Content teams to deliver detailed specifications and support QA for implementation fidelity.
- Define UX success metrics (task success rates, usability scores) and iterate based on evidence post-launch.
Qualifications

- Strong UX research skills (interviews, usability testing, surveys) and the ability to convert research into personas, flows, and specs.
- Experience building and maintaining a design system or component library.
- Proficiency in Figma or equivalent tooling for flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
