What You’ll Do

This is a hybrid-onsite, contract UX/UI Designer role based in Atlanta, GA supporting a confidential client in the Airlines and Aviation industry. You will create high-quality UI designs and support UX activities across web and mobile products while working with product, engineering, and senior design partners.

• Create and refine wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and polished user interface designs for web and mobile.
• Use Figma to build and maintain design files, components, Auto Layout, styles, libraries, and prototypes.
• Design responsive experiences and ensure visual consistency across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.
• Work within established design systems, component libraries, and brand guidelines to deliver consistent UI patterns.
• Translate business requirements, user needs, and stakeholder feedback into clear, executable design solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and senior designers through design reviews and iterations.
• Maintain organized design files, documentation, and specs to support development handoff.
• Support basic UX activities including user flows, information architecture, competitive reviews, and usability considerations.
• Participate in design critiques and help incorporate accessibility and inclusive design principles where possible.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of UX/UI, product design, digital design, or related experience (minimum ~24 months).
• Hands-on proficiency with Figma (components, Auto Layout, styles, libraries, prototyping).
• Strong visual and UI design fundamentals: typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and layout.
• Familiarity with UX fundamentals: wireframing, user flows, responsive design, and usability.
• Experience designing for web and/or mobile digital experiences.
• Ability to work within an existing design system and follow established standards.
• Strong attention to detail and an iterative mindset.
• Good communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and examples of digital design work.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (per role requirements).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design best practices.
• Experience with basic user research or usability testing.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs translate into development.
• Experience working with developers or within an Agile/product development environment.
• Exposure to collaboration tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Miro, Jira, or similar platforms.
