About the Role
We are hiring a remote UX Designer to craft intuitive, engaging user experiences for mobile applications and web. You’ll design end-to-end UX flows, create prototypes and UX artifacts, and partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to turn player and user insights into measurable product improvements. This position is telecommute-eligible from anywhere within the United States.
What You’ll Do
- Design and prototype user interfaces and flows for mobile apps (primary) and web.
- Produce UX artifacts: wireframes, user flows, journey maps, information architecture, storyboards, and interactive prototypes.
- Use Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar) to iterate quickly and share designs with distributed teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and stakeholders to refine solutions and ensure technical feasibility.
- Leverage player/user research and analytics to inform design decisions and track KPIs.
- Support live-service mobile game or mass-market casual game UX when applicable (feature tuning, onboarding, retention flows).
- Communicate design rationale clearly and incorporate feedback from user testing and cross-functional reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, HCI, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in UX design, game UX, graphic design, or a related role.
- Proven experience designing UX for mobile applications; gaming UX experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Figma, Miro, and/or Adobe Creative Suite; prototyping tools and collaborative whiteboarding tools.
- Experience creating UX artifacts: wireframes, flowcharts, journey maps, user stories, and prototypes.
- Familiarity with Unity or other game-development tools is a plus.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams and iterating in a live-service environment.
- Strong communication skills, user-centered mindset, and data-informed design approach.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting and meet deadlines.
