What You’ll Do
- Contribute to interaction and interface design for web and mobile product experiences from early concept through implementation.
- Translate user needs, business requirements, workflows, and technical constraints into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Use AI-assisted tools to explore concepts and iterate prototypes efficiently while applying human judgment, validating against user needs, and following responsible-AI and data-protection practices.
- Support product discovery and user research activities: interview facilitation, note-taking, synthesis, workflow analysis, and usability testing.
- Apply design-system components, established interaction patterns, responsive-design principles, and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, and subject-matter experts to refine problems and deliver feasible solutions.
- Create prototypes and design artifacts that communicate interaction behavior, test assumptions, gather feedback, and support implementation.
- Participate in design reviews, explain design decisions, incorporate feedback, and iterate toward consistent, usable outcomes.
- Contribute to design documentation, reusable patterns, shared libraries, and team practices to improve quality and consistency across products.
- Build knowledge of assigned products, customer personas, and domain workflows so design decisions reflect real user needs.
- Stay curious about evolving UX practices, accessibility, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging interaction patterns and apply learnings responsibly.
What Success Looks Like
- You ask thoughtful questions and understand the user’s environment before proposing solutions.
- You simplify complex workflows without losing important context or functionality.
- You apply standards consistently and know when a problem needs deeper exploration.
- You communicate progress, rationale, risks, and open questions to help the product team make decisions.
- You use feedback and evidence to improve designs rather than treating the first iteration as final.
- You demonstrate curiosity, empathy, attention to detail, collaboration, initiative, and a growth mindset.
