About the Role
Confidential Client is seeking a mid-level UX Designer to join its Brand & Digital Design team in Lehi, UT. You will design responsive marketing and ecommerce web experiences (landing pages, product pages, package selection, cart, checkout) that help customers learn about products, explore options, and complete purchases. You will own defined projects from discovery through developer handoff, collaborate with a Senior UX Designer and cross-functional partners, and contribute to the design system and reusable components.
What You’ll Do
- Design responsive experiences across desktop and mobile for marketing and ecommerce journeys (landing pages, product and package pages, selection flows, cart, checkout).
- Translate customer needs and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Identify usability issues and opportunities using qualitative feedback, usability testing, and analytics.
- Define clear navigation, content hierarchy, interactions, and interface states with accessibility in mind.
- Collaborate with Senior UX Designers, marketing stakeholders, copywriters, and engineers to align solutions with business goals.
- Contribute to and use the design system: components, patterns, and documentation to maintain consistency.
- Prepare organized Figma files and developer-ready specs; partner with developers during implementation and review for design quality.
- Present design decisions, incorporate feedback, and communicate progress, tradeoffs, and dependencies.
- Manage defined projects and deadlines independently, escalating when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Portfolio that demonstrates UX thinking, interface design, and end-to-end process (problem → solution → outcomes).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional UX/UI design experience (in-house, agency, or freelance), with the ability to carry digital projects from discovery through handoff.
- Proficiency in Figma (auto layout, components, variants, prototyping).
- Experience using AI design tools to explore concepts and streamline workflows while applying sound UX judgment.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, responsive behavior, accessibility, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Strong visual design skills—typography, layout, hierarchy, and attention to detail across interface states.
- Collaborative mindset; ability to explain design decisions and work through constraints with stakeholders and engineers.
- Good organization, time management, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or related field — or equivalent professional experience demonstrated via portfolio.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing ecommerce discovery, configuration, or checkout flows.
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system and reusable component library.
- Experience planning and running usability tests, interpreting analytics, or designing experiments to improve digital experiences.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and how design decisions translate to web implementation.
