What You’ll Do

This entry-level University Recruiter supports high-volume university hiring by sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates through the recruitment lifecycle. You will work under close supervision to ensure a positive candidate experience and accurate administrative processing.

  • Source candidates proactively using channels such as job boards, campus outreach, social media, and internal pipelines.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews; assess candidate fit against established role criteria.
  • Maintain timely candidate communication to keep pipelines warm and engaged.
  • Complete reference checks and support pre-employment screening as required.
  • Extend offers and clearly communicate offer details and next steps.
  • Support new-hire orientation activities to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Perform exit interviews and document feedback per process.
  • Process employee status changes (transfers, updates) with high accuracy.
  • Follow pre-established recruiting processes, instructions, and compliance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the university recruiting team to meet peak hiring needs.
  • Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records.

What We're Looking For

  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in high-volume sourcing or recruiting support.
  • Experience in administrative roles that included offer processing, transfers, or employment transactions.
  • Familiarity with common recruiting concepts, practices, and full-cycle support activities.
  • Strong attention to detail for offer processing and data entry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for candidate and stakeholder interactions.
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and work effectively under close supervision.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Experience as a recruiting coordinator or in a similar talent-acquisition support role is preferred.
  • Customer-focused mindset and strong organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Contract position — hourly pay: $36.00/hr.
