What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Unit Deployment Technician (Administration Generalist 1) to support squadron-level deployment and readiness activities at Beale AFB, CA. This role focuses on preparing personnel for deployments and maintaining accurate readiness and mobility records in DoD systems.
- Prepare and process personnel for deployments/re-deployments to/from combat zones, exercises, and other locations per U.S. Government, DoD, Air Force, and COCOM guidance
- Brief squadron and higher leadership on personnel readiness and deployment status
- Serve as the unit point-of-contact (POC) with Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) and Installation Personnel Readiness (IPR)
- Coordinate and schedule required pre-departure training with deploying personnel, supervisors, and flight schedulers
- Maintain ARIS access and schedule CBRN survival and Combat Arms training
- Use CCTK, LOGMOD, AFFORGEN to track pre/post-deployment mobility requirements
- Monitor pre/post-deployment health assessments via ASIMS / DMC modules
- Report unit resource status using AF-IT within DRRS
- Coordinate Ready Airman Training (RAT) and Advanced Readiness Training per COCOM requirements
- Recommend, procure, maintain, and distribute deployment equipment; maintain mobility folders and documentation IAW applicable DoD and AF guidance (e.g., DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, AFI 10-403)
- Manage deployment reporting in DCAPES (Unit Type Code posturing, individual status updates)
- Interface with Commercial Travel Office (CTO), Air Mobility Command liaisons, and resource advisors to arrange/de-conflict travel
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year experience working in a squadron-level or higher mobility office
- Education: Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 4 years relevant experience
- Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Ability to perform minor lifting and carry records/equipment as needed
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Fighter Squadron / Group / Wing Commander’s Support Section
- Familiarity with Air Force or DoD computer systems, tools, and software used for mobility/readiness (e.g., ARIS, DCAPES, LOGMOD, AFFORGEN, ASIMS, CCTK)

- Anticipated salary range (good-faith estimate): $52,592 — $70,000 per year (Confidential Client considers factors including experience, skills, and education when making offers)
