What You’ll Do

The Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer delivers high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging across varied settings (hospitals, outpatient clinics, and patient homes) using portable equipment. You will ensure patient comfort and safety while producing accurate images for clinical interpretation.

• Perform a range of ultrasound exams (abdominal, vascular, and general) using portable ultrasound systems
• Position and prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and monitor comfort during imaging
• Adjust imaging parameters and scanning techniques to obtain diagnostic-quality images
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to determine appropriate imaging studies
• Document exam details and findings accurately in electronic health records
• Operate, clean, and maintain portable ultrasound equipment; identify and report technical issues
• Follow safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards for imaging and patient care
• Stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and best practices for mobile sonography

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related program from an accredited institution
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent
• Proficient with portable ultrasound equipment and understanding of ultrasound physics
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to different care environments
• Previous mobile ultrasound experience or clinical sonography experience preferred (entry-level candidates may be considered)

• Frequent travel to patient locations including hospitals, clinics, and private residences
• Exposure to diverse patient conditions and care settings
• Ability to lift and maneuver portable ultrasound equipment and assist patients as needed
• Flexible scheduling; may include occasional overtime depending on patient needs

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus monthly bonus/incentive opportunities
