Role overview
Confidential Client is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to work remotely across the United States to design intuitive, accessible web and mobile experiences. In this role you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate user needs into elegant, usable interfaces and end-to-end user journeys.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute UI and UX design for web and mobile products across the product lifecycle
- Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Translate research insights and product requirements into usable interfaces
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure design intent is implemented accurately
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and usability testing
- Maintain and contribute to design systems, component libraries, and pattern documentation
- Advocate for accessibility, performance, and inclusive design practices
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years designing consumer or enterprise web and/or mobile applications, or equivalent experience
- A portfolio demonstrating strong interaction design, visual design, and end-to-end product work
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)
- Experience producing wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
- Practical knowledge of responsive design and cross-device considerations
- Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with user research methods and translating findings into product changes
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with design systems and component-based development workflows
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
- Basic understanding of front-end implementation (HTML/CSS/JS) to improve cross-team collaboration
- Experience in product analytics and using metrics to inform design decisions
