Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Trust Services Paralegal on the Trust Services team in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and an interest in learning trust administration and trust accounting processes. Training will be provided for department-specific software and procedures.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist with administration of various types of irrevocable trusts as assigned
  • Prepare and assist with trust accountings using department-specific software (training provided)
  • Support intake and compliance procedures for newly created trusts
  • Maintain and update department tracking programs and records
  • Gradually take on more client-facing activities while primarily supporting the Trust Services team
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certificate is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable with and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; willingness to ask questions and follow up as needed
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude toward acquiring new skills and responsibilities
  • Strong client-service orientation and the ability to work well on a team

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing job duties, the employee must be able to use a keyboard, calculator, and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, and hearing are required. Occasionally the role may require standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting up to 10 lbs., and close-vision tasks.   • Estimated compensation: $49,824 per year (estimated)
