Role Overview

This entry-level software/product consultant role supports TriZetto payer-care products used across healthcare payers and insurance operations. You will join a fast-moving product house supporting design, development, support, and troubleshooting for payer workflows and provider-facing tools. This posting represents an opportunity to start as a software/product associate based in Tarrytown, TX (authoritative job location). Candidates may be assigned to other major project locations or client sites and should be open to relocation if required by specific project needs.


What You’ll Do

  • Support design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of TriZetto payer-care software and integrations.
  • Contribute to product features for payer workflows, authorizations, and insurance operations.
  • Write and maintain code, configuration, and SQL queries; follow secure, auditable development practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-transfer activities.
  • Collaborate across global, cross-functional teams (product managers, QA, cloud engineers, client SMEs).
  • Learn and apply interoperability standards and industry best practices for healthcare software.
  • Follow established procedures to help the team meet deliverables and improve processes.

Technical Practice Areas (October 2026 Intake)

Candidates will be matched to a specific technical practice area based on skills and business needs. Example practice (subject to assignment):

  • Payer Care Solutions (CAE) — typically requires: .NET / C#, Angular, Microsoft SQL Server. Work may span provider-facing authorization tools, core payer systems, and value-based programs. Mentorship and a multi-month ramp-up are provided.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred majors: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related).
  • Basic programming knowledge in at least one of: Java, .NET (C#), Python, or SQL.
  • Internship or academic experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; eagerness to learn.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work on global teams.
  • Willingness to relocate to support client or project needs when required.
  • Note: Confidential Client is currently unable to sponsor U.S. work authorization (including CPT/OPT).

Preferred / Helpful Skills

  • Experience or coursework in .NET / C#, Angular, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with healthcare payer systems, authorization workflows, or TriZetto products.
  • Exposure to cloud-native design and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers).
  • Interest in healthcare interoperability standards and auditable systems.

Location & Start Date

  • Primary location for this posting: Tarrytown, TX (authoritative).
  • Start window: October 2026. Exact start dates will be communicated with sufficient time to plan.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base annual salary: $65,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
  • Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program (per Confidential Client plans).
  • Benefits subject to eligibility: medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid holidays & PTO, long- and short-term disability, paid parental leave, employee stock purchase plan, and other programs per company policy.
