What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Treasury Analyst to support corporate treasury operations in Chicago, IL. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury, you will help manage daily cash activity, maintain banking relationships, and produce treasury reporting that informs leadership decisions.

  • Assist with daily cash disbursement and receipt processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts across multiple entities and locations
  • Track daily cash positions and prepare cash flow and operating cash reports
  • Maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Support implementation and maintenance of banking services, user access, and fee tracking
  • Prepare documentation for bank account openings, closures, and changes
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with banking partners and internal finance teams
  • Create and maintain treasury dashboards and management reporting
  • Support variance analysis, trend identification, and materials for leadership or board presentations
  • Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and divisional finance teams on forecasting and cash-related activities
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or treasury (internships welcome)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic financial modeling)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset

Preferred

  • Exposure to treasury management systems or ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Familiarity with bank reconciliation, cash management, or financial reporting
  • Interest in or experience with the cannabis or consumer goods industry
  • Interest in pursuing a CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Location: Chicago, IL (on-site / hybrid as required by the client)
  • Pay range: $65,000—$75,000 USD (listed range; final offer may vary based on location, experience, and other factors)
