Compensation & Location

Confidential Client is hiring for an on-site Travel and Targeting Support / Targeter role in Northern Virginia (Alexandria area).
Salary range: $140,000 – $220,000 annually. Actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.


Responsibilities

Confidential Client is seeking analysts to support intelligence-focused travel and targeting operations. Core responsibilities include:

  • Conduct intelligence targeting in support of counterintelligence and defensive operations by exploiting intelligence community and sponsor data holdings to produce actionable analysis.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze travel-related data to identify patterns, anomalies, and operationally relevant indicators.
  • Draft, coordinate, and disseminate operational reporting (cables, tearlines, CJRs) that meet sponsor standards.
  • Collaborate across organizational boundaries to meet sponsor objectives and keep leadership informed on travel data acquisition and analysis efforts.
  • Communicate clearly to multiple management levels, tailoring content for varied audiences and formats.
  • Execute multiple, sometimes ambiguous, tasks to completion under competing priorities and tight deadlines while demonstrating integrity and accountability.

Experience Levels & Required Background

This role is open across experience tiers. Applicants should have demonstrated specialized experience relevant to the role at one of the following levels:

  • Entry Level: 0–2 years of specialized experience
  • Journeyman: 2–4 years of specialized experience
  • Full Performance: 4–6 years of specialized experience
  • Senior Level: 6–8 years of specialized experience
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8–12 years of specialized experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in programming/development, cloud & infrastructure, architecture & design, or other networking, cybersecurity, or technical disciplines are a plus.
  • Prior experience with travel-data analysis tools, databases, and intelligence community information sources is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience producing formal operational reporting is preferred.

Security Clearance

  • This position requires an active TS/SCI with an FS polygraph adjudicated within the last five (5) years. Applicants must have the required clearance at time of hire.
