What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Transportation Engineer (EIT) to join their team. You will work under direct supervision to build foundational design and analysis skills while contributing to transportation engineering projects.

• Builds analytic and design skills
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision
• Collects and analyzes project data under supervision
• Uses engineering software tools to solve basic engineering problems
• Performs assigned tasks in accordance with agreed budget and schedule

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, or a documented plan to pass the FE within one year
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available for this position)

Preferred Qualifications

• General understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D from coursework, projects, or internship
• Participation in student/professional organizations (ASCE, ITE, WTS, EWB, SWE, WISE, etc.)

Work Model & Location

• Primary location: Middleton, WI (Hybrid work model)
• Expected start: Summer 2027
• Employment type: Full-time (contractor engagements may be part of the assignment mix per source)

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated base salary range (as provided): USD 60,132.23 — USD 82,681.81 per year
• Benefits (depending on employment status) may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid time off, retirement savings, and other voluntary/perks as offered by the hiring organization
