What You’ll Do

As a Transfer Pricing Associate, you will support engagement teams delivering transfer pricing analyses and documentation for multinational clients. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Assist with transfer pricing projects involving intercompany transactions of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans
  • Prepare contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking studies to support positions and reduce audit risk
  • Support tax provision work for GAAP financial statements and related reconciliations
  • Conduct financial and economic analyses, industry and market research, and comparative benchmarking
  • Assist with valuations and preparation of valuation reports for closely held or publicly traded companies
  • Help defend transfer pricing determinations and support client discussions with tax authorities
  • Maintain client relationships and gather information from client personnel at all levels
  • Contribute to project planning, time management, and delivery of engagement milestones

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Basic tax accounting knowledge and familiarity with GAAP accounting concepts
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and solid research skills
  • Demonstrated project management and time-management capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in team environments and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work additional hours and to travel to client sites as required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (no sponsorship available)

Preferred / Helpful Skills

  • Coursework or experience in transfer pricing, international tax, or valuation
  • Exposure to economic or statistical analysis tools and databases
  • Prior internship or professional services experience

Compensation & Schedule

  • Base salary for the role in the Manhattan office: $91,800 per year (base pay)
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Hybrid work model with in-person attendance expected at least three days per week in Manhattan (office or client site)
