Role overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Trainee — Sponsorship Consulting for a six-month, entry-level, immersive trainee program in PR, Advertising & Marketing. This full-time, temporary program is designed to provide hands-on experience in sponsorship strategy, account support, creative ideation, and execution across sports and entertainment properties. A full-time, permanent role after the program depends on performance and position availability.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to program recommendations and post-program recaps
• Distribute and route sponsorship assets for client accounts
• Write point-of-view documents on potential partnerships
• Brainstorm concepts, platforms, and activation programs across accounts
• Research competitive activity, industry trends, and property opportunities
• Prepare status reports and materials for client meetings
• Design and order branded giveaways and merchandise
• Support account execution — some travel (including weekends) may be required

Quick facts

• Program start date: January 11, 2027
• Location: Darien, CT (this role requires ~3–4 days per week on site, with other days as needed)
• Term: 6-month trainee program (temporary) — full-time schedule

Qualifications

• College degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) preferred; relevant experience considered
• Familiarity with the sports sponsorship landscape and sponsorship activation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write POV documents and client-ready materials
• Interest/experience in social and digital media marketing, event activations, or branded merchandise
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to contribute creative ideas and practical solutions

Compensation & schedule

• Hourly pay: $19.23 per hour
• Employment type: Temporary / Full-time; some paid holidays and sick/safe time in accordance with Confidential Client policy
• This position is not eligible for other benefits beyond those described for temporary employees
