What You’ll Do
This entry-level Trade Desk Associate role supports operational oversight for one or more exchange trading platforms. You will work under senior Trade Desk staff to monitor platforms, support customers, gather data, and help maintain operational documentation.
- Assist with daily system checks and review audit logs to verify system changes and platform health
- Monitor production, disaster recovery, and test/certification environments; escalate anomalies promptly
- Support live communications to customers and internal teams during system or trading events
- Provide first-level customer support for platform behavior, order processing, and feature/function questions
- Support exchange operations tasks (order cancels, clearing requests, onboarding) under supervision
- Monitor auctions/rotations and assist with block trade / ECRP support as directed
- Use SQL and UNIX shell tools (under supervision) to query data and examine log files for basic reporting
- Update and maintain operational procedures and Confluence documentation with guidance
- Participate in weekend industry testing as needed and perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Communications or related field
- 0–2 years professional experience; internships, coursework, or projects in financial services or technology are relevant
- FINRA SIE and Series 57 licenses, or ability to obtain both within the first 8 months of service (required)
- Basic familiarity with SQL and UNIX shell environments (coursework or hands-on experience accepted)
- Strong willingness to learn market structure, trading systems, and operational workflows
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; accuracy and attention to documented procedures
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across Operations, Technology, and Business teams
Location & Schedule
- Primary work location: Quivira, KS (work at the local office)
- On-site model: four days in office to support team collaboration (as noted by the client)
- Employment type: Full-time or Contractor (as listed by the client)
Compensation & Benefits
- Anticipated base salary range: $68,000–$88,000 per year (actual pay determined by experience, skills, and location)
- Role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and participation in long‑term equity programs (where applicable)
