This in-office role runs during U.S. core trading hours and includes firm-sponsored SIE and Series 7 study and testing. This is a hands-on operations and client-support role on a growing broker‑dealer trading desk with a clear path into client relationships and sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor live order flow, positions, and risk limits across the desk’s trading & risk systems during U.S. core hours.
  • Detect rejected, stuck, or unusual orders and either resolve them or escalate per desk procedures.
  • Maintain composure and act methodically when markets move quickly or issues arise.
  • Support client communications once licensed: answer order and account questions via phone and approved messaging channels.
  • Track onboarding progress and flag incomplete or unusual account activity.
  • Receive and deliver shift handoffs to follow-the-sun coverage teams; keep clear logs of incidents and actions.
  • Follow written supervisory procedures and use only firm-approved, recorded communication channels.
  • Over time, support client relationship and sales work as responsibilities expand.

  • Commitment and ability to pass SIE and Series 7 exams within ~30 days of starting (firm-sponsored study time).
  • Eligible for FINRA registration (clean background check and fingerprinting).
  • Strong logical and quantitative problem‑solving ability.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; comfortable speaking with clients directly.
  • Calm under pressure and precise in execution and documentation.
  • Quick learner with systems and procedures.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and willingness to work full-time in the Miami Beach office.

Preferred qualifications

  • Comfortable with Excel; familiarity with SQL or scripting is a plus.
  • Genuine curiosity about markets and trading systems.

Ideal candidate profile

  • A problem‑solver who wants to understand how systems work and why they fail.
  • Calm and focused when the market or client needs rapid answers.
  • Detail‑oriented and precise: you double‑check and document actions.
  • Straightforward and ethical; comfortable in recorded/regulatory environment.
  • Energized by a trading floor — you prefer being in the room and owning responsibility early.
  • Ambitious about a long‑term trading/markets career; sees the Series 7 as a launching point.
