What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Thermal Analysis Engineer to join their engineering team supporting aerospace systems. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to support thermal modeling, analysis, documentation, and team technical reviews.
- Assist with thermal system analysis for spacecraft and mission subsystems using first-order and established engineering methods
- Support creation, execution, and validation of thermal models and simulations
- Prepare technical summaries, reports, and presentations for engineering reviews
- Assist in test planning and correlate analysis with thermal test data as directed
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to integrate thermal requirements with system design
- Follow standard engineering processes, version control, and configuration management practices
- Participate in design/technical reviews and take direction from senior engineers to resolve routine problems
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field — or equivalent work experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (entry-level)
- Basic understanding of thermal analysis concepts and thermal control for aerospace systems
- Ability to follow direction from senior engineers and work effectively in team environments
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for technical topics
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with thermal analysis tools such as Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, ANSYS, or COMSOL
- Experience with scripting or programming for analysis and post-processing (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple small tasks
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow in aerospace thermal engineering
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills across cross-functional engineering teams
- Basic problem-solving ability to support routine technical solutions
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $82,646.00 - $113,638.25 per year
- Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and market factors
