Test & Evaluation Engineers (Entry Level, Associate or Experienced)
The Test & Evaluation Engineer at Confidential Client is responsible for defining, planning, and executing test programs focused on air vehicle data acquisition, processing, and visualization to support flight and ground test operations. This role involves collaboration with internal and external customers to ensure test objectives are met through real-time data analysis, software validation, and quality assurance of test data. What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring Test & Evaluation Engineers at Entry, Associate, and Experienced levels to support aircraft flight test and data analysis activities. You will work across flight and ground-test teams to define data requirements, ensure data quality, and deliver actionable test results.
- Work with internal and external customers to document instrumentation, data requirements, and test planning (acquisition, processing, analysis) to meet test objectives
- Coordinate with flight and ground test personnel to develop, maintain, and configuration-control real-time displays for mission control and data monitoring
- Design, develop, and implement complex calculations and algorithms to support test objectives
- Validate and test flight-test processing software; define requirements for new algorithms or tools
- Maintain and update aircraft data processing databases with test-specific metadata
- Verify test parameters are operational, recorded, and/or telemetered prior to and during tests
- Provide real-time test coverage, monitor data quality, and troubleshoot anomalies during execution
- Request, process, analyze, validate, and distribute final test data to customers
- Perform data quality analysis and correct anomalies before release
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science from an accredited institution
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 2: 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level 3: 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with flight test or laboratory testing, instrumentation, system integration, simulation, and data analysis
- Experience with aircraft data acquisition, telemetry, and real-time display systems
- Active security clearance is a strong plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Summary pay ranges (based on level and experience):
- Level 1: $71,400 - $96,600 per year
- Level 2: $85,000 - $115,000 per year
- Level 3: $103,700 - $140,300 per year
- Competitive total rewards package including medical, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits (eligibility varies by role and location)

Additional Requirements & Hiring Notes
- Export control compliance: This role requires meeting U.S. export control requirements. A "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
- Security clearance: Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship may be required for clearance adjudication.
