What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Test Engineer to support automotive product validation, durability testing, and performance evaluation. This is a hybrid role (onsite 4 days/week, remote 1 day/week) based in Marysville, OH.

• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and validation activities for automotive components and systems.
• Perform environmental and durability testing (heat, vibration, rain, performance).
• Install and calibrate test instrumentation: thermocouples, data acquisition systems, sensors.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to confirm compliance with engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot test setups and identify root causes of failures; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed test reports, technical documentation, and engineering presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to influence design and quality improvements.
• Follow safety procedures and internal quality standards throughout testing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Open to entry-level candidates and individuals with 1–3 years of engineering or testing experience.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical testing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CANalyzer, INCA, or data acquisition systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with automotive powertrain, engine, transmission, sensors, cooling, or under-hood systems preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Marysville, OH most of the week (hybrid schedule as noted).

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $36.00 - $41.00 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time; onsite 4 days per week, remote 1 day per week (hybrid)
