What You’ll Do
This entry-level Territory Sales Professional role is an outside-sales position focused on building a new book of business in a dedicated territory around Burleson, TX. You will meet face-to-face with small and medium-sized business owners, benefits managers, and employees to present industry-leading supplemental health and life insurance products. You'll work with a driven team of producers, use a customized Salesforce CRM, and follow a structured training program to accelerate your sales performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Utilize a customized Salesforce CRM to manage leads, track activity, and grow your client portfolio
- Make in-person sales calls and build relationships with local business owners and decision-makers
- Schedule and conduct meetings to assess client needs and present tailored supplemental insurance solutions
- Follow up on referral leads and re-service existing clients to drive retention and renewals
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and text in a professional and timely manner
- Attend team meetings and coaching calls with your sales manager
- Set monthly and quarterly targets with your manager and track daily sales activity
- Plan and submit weekly schedules and record daily work stats
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Pass a high-level pre-employment background check
- Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your resident state — OR willingness to obtain licensing (study course provided at no cost and state licensing fees reimbursement available)
- Bachelor’s degree OR minimum 4 years post–high-school work experience (candidates within 6 months of degree completion or those with relevant sales/athletic backgrounds will be considered)
- Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable with face-to-face selling and follow-up activities
- Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated compensation: $83,065 per year (estimated) — combination of weekly draw option plus uncapped commissions
- Short sales cycle (typical close in ~3 business days), monthly cash bonuses, quarterly stock-share bonuses, incentive trips, and vested renewal commissions
