Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Territory Sales Professional to build a new book of business in Bowling Green, KY. This outside-sales role focuses on in-person meetings with small and medium-sized businesses to present supplemental insurance products (health & life ancillary benefits). You will receive classroom and field training, coaching, and tools (Salesforce CRM) to develop territory pipeline and close new clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Utilize a customized Salesforce CRM to source leads, manage prospects, and track pipeline.
- Make in-person sales calls and build relationships with business owners, benefits managers, and employees.
- Schedule and conduct meetings to assess client needs and present supplemental insurance solutions.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and text in a timely, professional manner.
- Follow up on referral leads and re-service existing clients to drive retention.
- Collaborate with your sales manager on monthly and quarterly targets.
- Plan and submit your weekly field schedule; record daily activity and sales metrics.
Qualifications
- Willingness to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Active Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your resident state — or willingness to obtain one (study course provided at no cost; state licensing fees reimbursement available).
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years post–high-school work experience. Candidates within six months of degree completion or with relevant sales/athletic backgrounds will be considered.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated compensation: $72,739 per year (estimate shown on source).
- Weekly draw option plus uncapped commissions and short sales cycle (approximately 3 business days).
