Key Responsibilities

You will join a relocation team supporting tenant moves and housing stability. Typical responsibilities include:

• Identify prospective Section 8 landlords in target opportunity zones and connect tenants with available units.
• Provide direct housing opportunity counseling to tenants — advise on neighborhoods, school access, and job proximity.
• Prepare, organize and maintain tenant files and relocation documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Act as liaison between tenants and corporate staff; escalate issues and coordinate next steps.
• Complete data entry tasks and maintain tracking systems to support the relocation project.
• Represent the program during community outreach and landlord engagement activities.
• Deliver clear, professional verbal and written communications to tenants, landlords and partners.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum and preferred qualifications to succeed in this role:

• Prior management and administrative experience.
• Strong data-entry accuracy and comfort with basic recordkeeping systems.
• Solid business writing skills and strong public speaking ability.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• One year of management experience (preferred, not required).
• One year of leasing consultant or tenant-services experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred but not required.
• Community outreach or tenant-engagement experience (preferred).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work on-site for the duration of the assignment.

You will receive training and direct oversight from the Corporate Tenant Relocation Coordinator and Corporate Tenant Relocation Specialist.

Role Details & Benefits

• Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
• Employment type: Full-time (Temporary) — approximately 4 months with strong possibility of extension.
• Location: Lafayette, LA (on-site).
• Background check required.
