Introduction
Confidential Client seeks entry-level Technical Sales Engineers to join a structured sales program beginning in 2027. In this role you'll partner with client stakeholders and technical teams to design, demonstrate, and deliver solutions across AI, hybrid cloud, automation, data, and security. The program includes comprehensive onboarding, structured technical-sales training, mentorship, pathway certifications, and ongoing professional development to accelerate a career in technical sales and solution consulting.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in client discovery sessions to understand business objectives, technical requirements, success criteria, and current environments.
- Design and validate technical solution approaches that address customer challenges and align to business goals across AI, hybrid cloud, automation, data, and security.
- Build and deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), workshops, and technical presentations that showcase solution functionality and integration requirements.
- Translate technical concepts into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders through storytelling, documentation, and recommendations.
- Support customer adoption and success by helping clients define use cases, remove technical blockers, and identify deployment considerations.
- Collaborate with sales, technical specialists, customer success teams, and partners to progress opportunities and identify expansion areas.
- Contribute reusable assets, technical best practices, and emerging-technology perspectives to accelerate client outcomes.
- Present technical findings, solution recommendations, and next steps to both business and technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (completed by start date) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud computing, software development, AI, automation, data, or cybersecurity.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or similar.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to prototype, build, or troubleshoot applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for technology and client success.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, research, project, or extracurricular experience in technology, consulting, customer success, technical sales, or software development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, AI, cybersecurity, automation, or modern application development.
- Technical certifications or participation in hackathons, case competitions, or technology programs.
- Leadership experience with student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or community involvement.
- Domain knowledge in specific industries or business sectors.
Compensation & Location
- Estimated base salary: $93,609 per year (estimated).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Location: Highland Park / Dallas area, TX (on-site and in-market client engagements; specific program locations may vary).
