Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Technology Designer (New Graduate) in Greenwood Village, CO. This role provides hands-on experience designing and supporting low-voltage building technology systems—IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, and related systems—while receiving mentorship, training, and clear career development paths from day one.
This is a full-time, in-office position (travel up to 50%). Sponsorship is not available.

What You’ll Do
- Assist in design and analysis of IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, and other low-voltage building systems.
- Use engineering tools and BIM software to produce drawings, specifications, and calculations that meet code and firm standards.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and budget tracking to help projects meet deadlines and objectives.
- Document design decisions and client instructions; monitor project design progress.
- Communicate with clients to gather requirements and convey technical information professionally.
- Work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams (architects, project managers, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in quality control processes and contribute to technical innovation and research efforts.
- Prioritize safety and identify/mitigate risks associated with low-voltage systems.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or related Engineering; Information Technology; Computer Science; or a related STEM field (or equivalent).
- Familiarity with design techniques, technical plans, and specification production.
- Strong technical and analytical skills related to electrical low-voltage systems (voltage/current fundamentals, digital/analog signals, basic IT networking topologies and protocols).
- Basic experience with BIM software.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively on teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (may include overnight and air travel).
Preferred
- Prior internship experience in building design consulting.
- Engineering in Training (EIT) certification.

Compensation & Benefits
- State of Colorado base salary range: $71,000–$77,000 per year (this represents the good-faith range for the Greenwood Village, CO location).
- Individual pay will be based on experience, education, skills, and licensure.
