Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Technology Consulting Consultant (entry-level / early-career consulting role) to join their IT consulting practice in Northlake, GA. You will work on client-facing engagements across Business Platform Transformation, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Microsoft ecosystem initiatives, Security & Privacy, Technology Risk & Resilience, and Technology Strategy & Architecture. This role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and hands-on experience with data, cloud, security, and application technologies.


What You’ll Do

You will:

  • Collaborate on client projects to deliver high-quality, practical solutions to complex technology and business problems
  • Collect, analyze, and document data and findings to inform client recommendations
  • Support design, testing, and implementation activities for applications, data platforms, or security controls
  • Assist with data engineering, reporting, and analytics tasks to turn data into insights
  • Contribute to risk assessments, technical testing, and remediation planning in security and privacy engagements
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Participate in onboarding and training programs to accelerate your consulting capabilities and career progression

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Applied Math, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and apply innovative approaches to client problems
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies and working in team-based client engagements

Preferred / Helpful Skills

Candidates with any of the following will stand out:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, BusinessObjects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, SSRS)
  • Familiarity with SQL-based systems (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata)
  • Programming exposure (Python, Java, JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern cloud architectures
  • Introductory cybersecurity knowledge: authentication, identity management, data protection, encryption, access controls
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and implementation concepts (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday)
  • Experience applying AI/GenAI tools or data processes for automation, model support, or productivity improvements
  • Analytical proficiency using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for data manipulation and reporting

Compensation & Benefits

Salary and bonus:

  • Base salary range: $72,000 — $87,000 per year
  • Bonus target: $2,000
  • Estimated total cash range: $74,000 — $89,000

How We Work

Confidential Client follows a hybrid work model that balances in-office and remote work based on project and client needs. Expect a mix of local office time, client-site engagements, and occasional travel depending on assignment. You will participate in structured onboarding and training (including experiential learning) to accelerate your consulting development.
