What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is looking for entry-level Technology Consulting Consultants to join their Metro DC practice. In this role you will work on client-facing teams to diagnose problems, analyze data, and help deliver practical, secure, and sustainable technology solutions across a variety of industries and capability areas.
- Contribute to client engagements across areas such as Business Platform Transformation, Enterprise Data/Analytics & AI, Microsoft solutions, Security & Privacy, Technology Risk & Resilience, and Technology Strategy & Architecture.
- Compile, clean, and analyze data; prepare findings and communicate clear insights to project teams and clients.
- Support project activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, testing support, documentation, and implementation tasks.
- Participate in hands-on technical work (data engineering, BI/reporting, basic programming, or security testing) aligned to your assigned capability.
- Learn and apply productivity tools including AI-enhanced collaboration and automation (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI) to increase efficiency and quality of deliverables.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, manage priorities, and collaborate closely with teammates and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data analysis and visualization using BI tools and Excel to support client deliverables.
- Support technical assessments, risk reviews, and remediation planning for security and privacy projects.
- Help design, document, and test technology solutions and implementation plans for ERP, cloud, or platform changes.
- Contribute to technical design artifacts, testing scripts, migration support, and user documentation.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Engage in continual learning through structured onboarding, mentorship, and training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Applied Math, or a related technology discipline.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Familiarity or coursework in one or more of the following:
- Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, BusinessObjects, Cognos, QlikView, SSRS)
- SQL and major DBMS platforms (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata)
- Programming fundamentals (Python, Java, JavaScript preferred)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern customer technology stacks
- Security fundamentals (authentication, encryption, identity management, least privilege)
- ERP and system implementation concepts (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday)

How We Work
Confidential Client follows a hybrid work model combining in-person collaboration with remote work depending on client and team needs. Consultants commonly work from local offices and client sites and may travel locally or out-of-state for engagements. Onboarding includes structured programs and experiential learning to accelerate development.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (U.S., full-time equivalent): $75,000 - $92,000 per year (placement within range depends on experience, skills, and work location).
- Bonus target and total cash opportunities vary by role and location; refer to the hiring team for details.

Location
VA — Tysons Corner / McLean (local Metro DC area). Hybrid work model; in-office and client-site expectations vary by project.
