What You’ll Do
Join the Confidential Client’s Technology Consulting team as an early-career consultant working on client-facing technology and risk projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions that address complex business and technical problems. Typical responsibilities include:
- Support client engagements across technology modernization, data & analytics, security, and architecture projects
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to produce actionable insights and clear deliverables
- Help design and document technical and business processes, solutions, and controls
- Assist with testing, remediation tracking, and implementation support on technical programs
- Use modern productivity and AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis, collaboration, and delivery (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI)
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to project planning, time management, and team collaboration to meet client objectives
Technology Consulting consultants are typically placed in one of these capability areas:
- Business Platform Transformation — application strategy, development, program execution, cloud infrastructure
- Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI — data engineering, visualization, ML/AI, governance, and analytics
- Microsoft Ecosystem — Microsoft platform implementations and productivity solutions
- Security & Privacy — risk assessments, vulnerability testing, incident readiness, privacy services
- Technology Risk & Resilience — enterprise risk programs, third-party risk, regulatory alignment
- Technology Strategy & Architecture — enterprise architecture and technology strategy to enable business outcomes
Where You’ll Work & Schedule
The Confidential Client practices a hybrid work model. You will work both in-person at local offices and on client sites as required by projects. Travel (local or occasionally out-of-state) may be required depending on client needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Math, Machine Learning, or another relevant technology discipline
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Experience using AI-enabled productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving applied to client engagements
- Technical proficiency relevant to the assigned capability area, which may include:
- Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, BusinessObjects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, SSRS)
- SQL and major DBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Entry-level networking and infrastructure concepts (segmentation, firewalls, middleware)
- Introductory understanding of IT controls, internal control frameworks, and risk management
- Programming skills preferred (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Foundational cybersecurity concepts (authentication, identity management, encryption, least privilege)
- Experience working with data for analytics or AI/automation use cases (data cleaning, model support)
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $75,000 - $92,000 (annual)
- Bonus target: $2,000
- Estimated total cash range (base + target bonus): $77,000 - $94,000
