- Gather information via SME interviews and meetings; convert technical input into accurate, user-friendly content.
- Build and maintain SharePoint sites and knowledge repositories to support onboarding and knowledge sharing.
- Create visual aids: diagrams, process flows, charts, and infographics to clarify complex processes.
- Ensure consistency with style guides, templates, Section 508 and government formatting standards as applicable.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality artifacts; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 1–3 years relevant experience preferred (degrees in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or related fields are a plus).
- Experience writing or supporting government proposal responses (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) and tailoring content to solicitation requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to produce technical documentation (user guides, SOPs, help content) for non-expert audiences.
- Strong editing, proofreading, and document-template experience.
- Experience conducting SME interviews and converting technical material into clear content.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience writing for government proposals and familiarity with government documentation standards and accessibility (e.g., Section 508).
