What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Technical Sales representative for field-based, consultative sales work in the Newburgh Heights, OH area. You will:

• Prospect new business through cold calls, warm leads, and coordination with the sales office to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct face-to-face consultations with customers to understand their operations and recommend product solutions that add measurable value.
• Adapt to diverse customer environments, including manufacturing and laboratory settings.
• Travel to customer sites approximately three days per week and expect regular overnight travel (about 5–6 nights per month).
• Work closely with internal teams and management to follow a process-driven sales approach and participate in ongoing training and mentorship.

You should bring the drive and baseline qualifications to grow quickly in a field sales role:

• Bachelor’s degree (any major — Business, Engineering, etc., welcome).
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment.
• Strong verbal communication and consultative selling skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally multiple days per week and complete overnight stays as needed.
• Comfortable working hands-on in industrial and lab environments and adapting to customer challenges.

Compensation & Benefits

• Advertised first-year on-target earning potential (OTE) is listed at $83,000 (as advertised). An estimated annual figure shown on the source is approximately $67,142 — exact pay structure (base + commission/OTE), bonuses, and benefits are set by Confidential Client and will be shared during the hiring process.
