What You’ll Do
Confidential Client’s Technical Sales Associate Development Program (Equipment) develops early-career engineers into customer-facing sales professionals through a structured Graduate Training Program (GTP). After successfully completing the 14-week GTP, you will transition into an Associate Account Manager role (Equipment, Services, or Controls). Typical responsibilities include:
- Sell HVAC equipment, controls, parts, and services to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
- Partner with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners to specify, design, and apply solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers across the full sales cycle.
- Identify technical and commercial opportunities and develop territory sales plans.
- Analyze market and customer needs to support strategic opportunities and design wins.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through pipeline development and effective channel management.
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (all disciplines considered) — must graduate prior to GTP start date.
- Recent graduate (this posting targets entry-level / early-career candidates).
- Demonstrated passion for continuous learning in technical fields and strong communication skills.
- Internship experience preferred; or ability to begin in-office work up to 3 months before GTP start.
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and ability to provide proof of insurance; no major driving infractions (for example: DUI within 3 years, hit & run, license suspension, or repeated preventable collisions).
- Willingness to temporarily relocate to La Crosse, WI for the 14-week training program.
- Able to work onsite as required; after training the role is typically within a defined geographic territory with under 15% travel.
Program Details & Location
- Training format: 14-week on-site Graduate Training Program in La Crosse, WI (intensive technical, business, sales engineering, and leadership curriculum).
- Onboarding: begin at a predetermined local office before traveling to La Crosse for training.
- Post-program role: Associate Account Manager based in a predetermined office location (territory assignment).
- Travel: typically less than 15% after GTP completion.
- Role designation: Safety Sensitive — additional drug screening or checks may apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base pay listed: $78,840 (Salary). Compensation structure and total pay for account managers may include commission/variable components after program completion, creating potential uncapped earnings.
- During the 14-week training: lodging, a daily stipend, and relocation support are provided (subject to change at the client’s discretion).
