Key Responsibilities

This role supports a confidential client in the Creative & Design industry. You will convert engineering and service information into clear dimensional drawings, pictorials, and user-facing manuals that technicians and customers can rely on.

  • Create and edit technical illustrations and dimensional drawings using AutoCAD (primary), Corel Draw, Creo, Photoshop, and Arbortext/Adobe.
  • Produce service pictorials and assembly/maintenance illustrations for end users and service technicians.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical writers to gather technical data and format written instructions that pair with drawings.
  • Maintain accuracy of technical terminology and ensure illustrations meet documentation standards.
  • Manage multiple documentation projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Visit the production floor as needed to take measurements, verify assemblies, or photograph components for documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred (technical drawing, drafting, graphic arts, or related field).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience producing technical illustrations, drawings, or manuals.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
  • Experience with Corel Draw, Creo, Photoshop, and Arbortext/Adobe strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Comfortable reading engineering drawings and interacting with factory equipment to capture accurate details.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and strong research skills to use correct technical terminology.

  • Location: Kenner, LA (on-site with occasional visits to production areas).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Estimated pay: $48,017 per year (estimated).
