What You’ll Do

Lead a team of technicians delivering high-quality laboratory and test-cell data and services that enable engineering, product development, and operational decision-making. You will act as the operational point of contact for internal stakeholders, prioritize resources, and drive reliable execution with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Lead and develop a team of technicians to meet operational targets and quality standards
• Partner with internal customers to clarify requirements and align resources to priorities
• Ensure timely, accurate delivery of technical data and test results
• Drive continuous improvement projects that increase efficiency and data integrity
• Promote and model a strong safety culture and adherence to health & safety procedures
• Strengthen data quality practices and information governance
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues using structured, root-cause problem-solving
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that supports employee growth

What We’re Looking For

Candidates who can combine technical aptitude with hands-on leadership in laboratory/test-cell or technical operations settings.

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams while balancing operational needs
• Experience with data analysis, data quality management, and structured problem-solving
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions and levels
• Practical experience in laboratory, test cell, engineering support, or similar technical operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with data-driven decision-making
• Commitment to safety, continuous learning, and delivering consistent results in a dynamic environment

Education & Experience

• Demonstrated aptitude is required. Associate degree or certification in a relevant STEM field preferred; select roles may require a Bachelor’s degree.
• Entry-level / early career candidates are welcome if they have relevant lab/test-cell or technical operations experience (including non-exempt or temporary student roles such as internships or co-ops).
• This role may require licensing or compliance checks related to export controls or sanctions regulations.

• Employment type: Full-time; Exempt (experienced)
• Location: On-site with flexibility — Clifford, IN
• Shift: Tech Center — 1st Shift Supervisor of Development Operations (on-site responsibilities)
• Estimated pay (source): $73,471 per year — disclosed as an estimate in the original posting
