Role overview

Confidential client is hiring an entry-level Tech Packages Analyst to join their Government & Public Services consulting team in Pico Heights, CA. This role supports implementation, configuration, testing, and ongoing operation of commercial technology packages used by public-sector clients. You'll gain hands-on consulting experience, work with cross-functional teams, and help deliver measurable client outcomes.


What you’ll do

  • Support requirements gathering and translate business needs into system configuration.
  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot technology package modules.
  • Assist with data migration, upgrade management, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop and deliver user training and documentation.
  • Communicate status and issues to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Support quality assurance activities and help ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Contribute to project planning, workstream execution, and client-facing deliverables.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or a completed bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Technology Management, Finance Technology or equivalent).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to commute to the assigned Pico Heights, CA office (commutable distance, e.g., within ~100 miles) and travel up to ~50% as required.

Preferred:

  • Cumulative GPA ~3.4 or higher.
  • Internship, coursework, or project experience with system configuration, data migration, testing, or related technology work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Logistics & compensation

  • Location: Pico Heights, CA (on-site/commutable to assigned office as required).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Travel: Up to 50% on average, depending on client needs.
  • Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance required.
  • Wage range (estimate): $88,000 – $91,000 per year. This range reflects typical hiring factors and may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic differentials.
