What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Tax Staff I to join its Private Client Services (PCS) team in Miami, FL. In this role you will learn to prepare financial statements (compilations and reviews) and assist with the preparation of federal and state individual and business income tax returns. This position is an excellent opportunity to build technical tax skills, client service experience, and a career path in private wealth and closely held business advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation of compilations and reviews of client financial statements
- Assist with federal and state income tax return preparation
- Perform data entry, account analysis, and basic tax computations
- Prepare workpapers and documentation to support tax and accounting work
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients as required
- Manage assignments to meet deadlines during busy seasons
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- 0–2 years of recent public accounting experience (entry-level candidates encouraged)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Final/150-date graduation between Dec 2025 and Dec 2026
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
- Strong communication, leadership potential, and analytical skills
